Quilting Bee

When I think of the term "quilting bee," I picture a half dozen or so women sitting around a table hand-quilting a large quilt. And that's what quilting bees were like 150 years ago!

Today I joined a quilting bee myself! I'll be quilting with other quilters in the U.S. Earlier this summer, I swapped blocks with quilters in Australia, New Zealand and Canada. I wonder what those quilting bee women from 100 years ago would think about the possibilities we have now!

I believe that the new "Color Bee Shocked" still has room for one more quilter. UPDATE: The leader just posted an update that we are now full. Check out the details here and join us!

I'll be sure to share lots of pictures!
